Step 1 Create the background and the grid
The document should be perfect for 3 columns and 6 rows
Fill the background with a color with paint bucket tool
Go to view-new guide layout, 3 for columns and 6 for rows how I mentioned before
Don't forget to lock guides, go again to view
Let's use some shadow texture, I will leave them in the description bar
Ctrl+t, drag its corners and make it bigger, choose as a blend mode color burn and remove with erase tool the corners of the texture
Do the same with another texture
Step 2 Add photos
For this step you will just move photos over the background
But actually this is an important step because it defines the design of the instagram feed
You just have to follow me
You can feel free to be as creative as you want or you can copy me
I would say that arranging the photos depends a lot on the photos you use
My advice would be to keep in mind that each square defined by the grid represents a post
Make photos smaller or bigger with ctrl+t
You can improve the design adding stroke to your photos
Click right-blending options-check stroke, choose a color similar to your photos
Click right copy layer style
And now click right, paste layer style to all your photos
To some photos make the stroke opacity lower, click right, blending options.
Step 3 Add text
Again, keep in mind that each square defined by the grid represents a post
Try to alternate between white and black text boxes
After you are done with the text, slice each post
Go to file-export-save for web
Now you have 18 new posts
