So, I thought I could leave the RC-600 alone for a bit now that the manual and parameter guides are both online (link below), but this thought kept bugging me to make a reaction video and pull apart a bit of what's happening.
Couple of things...
I answered my own question about the harmonies coming on (figured it out while talking during this session - triggered by an assigned control pedal), and I'm still left with the mysteries of how they routed the audio - 3 sets of stereo outputs... 5 individual outputs and the 6th with 2 instruments?
Curious how much post production work went into making this such a smooth recording/video? ...We'll likely never know, but the options to have this much control is awesome - however much was directly from the pedals on board fx/EQ/compression - versus how much was crafted in post production editing.
And lastly, for those wanting to really hone in on the timing of recording new loops on new tracks with the pressing of foot switches - remember as you're watching the original that the buttons are pressed in advance of the new loop starting. It sets it up to begin at the start of the next bar if you like.
