For this occasion, Princess Kate chose the same dark brown Hicks & Brown Suffolk fedora hat she wore during her church visit last summer. This choice not only highlights her timeless classic style but also evokes memories of her past outings with Prince William and Prince Andrew.
For Sunday service at Crothy Kirk last summer, Kate turned heads in a stylish hat and a classic brown check trench coat. And now, on August 25th, she returned to the same headwear, pairing it with a trench coat very similar to the one she wore last year.
Fashion critics from the Royal Fashion Police noted that the Holland Cooper coat she wore this time was strikingly similar to her look from last year. It features similar details, such as the collar, epaulettes, and gold buttons.
This choice perhaps reflects Princess Kate's commitment to timeless fashion choices. She already owns a similar Holland Cooper Full Length Marlborough trench coat in heather check, as well as two other felt fedoras from Hicks & Brown in her collection. She previously wore a navy fedora during a church appearance in Norfolk in January 2020 and an olive one for a rare home video celebrating her tenth wedding anniversary to Prince William in 2021.
