In this video, I try out a highly controversial decision in Cities: Skylines II: placing a waste processing plant on high ground and analyzing its impact on transportation, pollution levels, operating costs, and the reaction of city residents.
Beyond typical gameplay, I've upgraded the visuals to a 50% game-50% real-life cinematic style: industrial lighting with contrasting hot and cold tones, realistic smoke, dust, and fire effects, and a documentary-like depth of field. Many people looking at the thumbnail might think it's a real-life photo… but the truth might surprise you.
Is this a smart planning strategy to optimize land use?
Or a mistake that could cost the entire city dearly?
