In this video, I give some TLC to a handful of faithful vintage Whitworth sockets. Mega Pitting on some, can I get them improved? The Whitworth system dates from pre 1900; it was developed by Joseph Whitworth and by 1881 was used as the British standard being joined by the BSF (British Standard Fine) in 1908. Popular on Classic Cars for the last 140 years.
