Nanoblocks are similar in design to Lego bricks but smaller, with the smallest brick measuring 4 mm × 4 mm × 5 mm. The nanoblocks are 1⁄8 the size of Kawada's Diablock Nanoblock line. The bottom of the Nanoblock differs from Lego's in that it uses separation flanges, known as a double-ridged backing system, instead of the tube system that Lego uses. Nanoblocks are made using ABS plastic and there are eleven different types, the largest is the 8×2 Block and the smallest is the single pole Block. How to arrange and assemble Nanoblocks does require precision compared to Lego considering that their size is too small. Arranging and assembling Nanoblocks can stimulate brain performance.
