Solution is good for team work, where you want to share each other replies.
In Active Directory shared mailbox user have state - "disabled". So, during connection process, use your private user name (e-mail address) and password.
During connection process, Outlook can ask for username and password up to 15 times. So, in Outlook 2010-2013 use "Remember my credentials" check mark and press Enter as many times as will require. Unpatched Outlook 2007 does not remember credentials, so connection process can be little longer..
Note: To open shared mailbox, you should have permissions to it. It is usually done by IT staff.
