Pyrophoric nickel, a raney nickel alternative
In this video I make pyrophoric Nickel( burns on contact with air) from normal Nickel metal I got from poland. I used NiCl2 and NiC2O4 to do the synthesis.

The point was to make a cheap and reproducible catalyst for hydrgenations and reductions that I may need it in future videos and projects .
