The Norfolk train derailment that took place in East Palestine Ohio in Early February, was one of the worst environmental disasters on the mainland of the USA.
Initially, the fire that started was put out by crews, however, an increase in temperature led to concerns of a potential blast. As a result, they burnt thousands of gallons of toxic chemicals.
Was this truly justified and the right decision to make?
