In this video, you'll meet Daniel, a Colombian living in Brisbane who also lived on the Gold Coast and has a very interesting story to tell. (I'll continue the story below).
Daniel came to Australia 5 years ago. He's a lawyer in his home country, but like many others who emigrate to Australia, he has to give up his legal career to make ends meet.
Initially, he focused on learning English on a student visa, and later he studied... But what are you waiting for?!
Okay, let me tell you a little more. Eventually, his partner got a sponsor, and as his partner, she also ended up getting a permanent visa.
His salary is over $1,000 a week, and he currently works both as a security guard and as a cleaner.
It's a real honor to have someone like him on the show because, honestly, you meet a lot of people in Australia, but few are willing to appear in videos. And having someone with such a beautiful and inspiring story like his makes the content even more valuable.
Daniel and I met while working in construction in Australia, specifically painting.
