StarWarsTheory - Vader Episode 2 - Clone Trooper Rig movement test:
Here is a rig I created for the YouTube channel StarWarsTheory. They used it in their short cinematic, “Vader Episode 2: The Amethyst Blade Cinematic”. You can watch the video here: • Vader Episode 2: Mace Windu Returns - The ...

The clone trooper rig is pretty basic, but it is easy to work with. Among other things, It has IK/FK switching on the arms and legs, space switching on the arms and head, a bunch of foot controls and a global scale.
Go check out Vader: Episode 2 to see him in action! The animators did a great job with it.

Missing credits from Star Wars Theory’s “Vader Episode 2: The Amethyst Blade cinematic”:
Ben Judd: Writer, layout, and he sculpted freaking Mace Windu’s face! And it looks amazing!
Jonathan Franklin: Environment and he developed a procedural system for the catacombs. Also amazing.
Devin Eggleston: Designed Mace’s clothing.
Jake Lofgren: rigging and working with mocap.
Me, Spencer Barber: I rigged the clone trooper!
There you go, I hope I didn’t miss anyone! Everyone did a great job. It stinks to not get your name in the credits after slaving over a project. Go show these guys some support!
