Welcome to the first Thursday Tech Tips video for 2020! It's been a long time since I did a live looping video tutorial for you all, and finally here is the first one of many more.
The main thing I share is that you don't have to loop and record complex rhythms all at once, perhaps you simply record the kick and snare part first - get that nice and tight and grooving - and then you can use overdubs to put in a high hat part, or loop another percussion section.
Building your rhythms to jam over can be pretty fun and you can be pretty inventive and creative - especially when you're at home looping. Also this video is about live guitar looping - I'm not using any additional inputs or instruments to create the rhythms!
