The Mystery of the Black Stone of the Kaaba
During the construction of the Kaaba, Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) heard a call from Mount Abu Qubais: "O Ibrahim, the time has come to return what is in my custody; come and take it."
Then the Prophet climbed the mountain. Part of the mountain split, and he found the Black Stone, which had been hidden there by Noah or the Angel Jibril (peace be upon them). He took the stone from there and placed it in the Yemeni corner of the Kaaba. It was exalted with the words "The Hand of Allah's Power in this world."
All those who begin circumambulating the Kaaba with pure faith are encouraged (sunnah) to prostrate at the Black Stone, touch it with their hand, and kiss it. Avoid those who do not attach importance to this sunnah.
Nowadays, performing prostration and kissing the Black Stone has become difficult due to the large number of pilgrims. Simply making a sign to the stone with your hand and kissing its hand is enough to fulfill the Sunnah.
It is said that whoever fulfills this Sunnah to the best of their ability will receive intercession (shafa'ah) from the Black Stone on the Day of Judgment. It is also said that on the Day of Resurrection, when everyone will be in dire need of intercession and help, it will act as a witness.
