故事梗概｜Synopsis
在城市高樓夾縫間，孤單善良的大樓警衛藏有一個無人知曉、生機盎然的美麗野地，並與棲息在那兒的鷺鷥相遇相熟﹔然而城市的擴張不曾停止，某日野地被毀蓋起高樓，一鳥一人頓失身與心之棲地，而恍惚悲傷的他在層層的鋼骨鷹架與起重機間，開始看見各種神秘幻象……
Among the tall buildings of the city, the lonely guard hides a beautiful field that no one knows, and meets an egret there; but the expansion of the city never stops, one day the field is destroyed, the egret escapes without a trace, He begins to see mysterious illusions.
導演的話｜Director Statement
「鷺鷥河」以數位2D動畫為媒材、城市景觀為發想，編構出一部人與生物、城市與自然間關係的奇幻短片，從大樓警衛與鷺鷥之間的關係，看孤單善良的力量是如何微弱而又奮力的存在，看兩個尋無棲木的心如何努力地尋回心中的大平靜。
Based on delicate hand-drawn animation and urban and wetland landscapes, “The Egret River” has compiled a fantasy animation short film on the relationship between man and creature, city and nature, showing how human beings can re-approach nature and find the peace of mind.
導演簡介｜Director Biography
劉琬琳，1981年生，台南藝術大學音像動畫研究所碩士，動畫與插畫雙棲的創作者，靈感經常來自於日常生活與自然，她的作品透過細緻的畫面來傳達日常生活的細微觀察與溫柔的觀點。
Born in 1981, Wan-Ling Liu is a freelance animator and illustrator who graduated from the Tainan National University of the Arts in Taiwan. She often inspired by the observation of nature and everyday life, her animations offer a unique and gentle perspective through detailed graphics.
