Charged creepers are one of Minecraft's most powerful mobs, right up there with the Ender Dragon, Wither, and Elder Guardian bosses. Although charged creepers aren't considered a boss mob, they are still among the strongest Minecraft mobs in Survival mode, Adventure mode, and Hardcore mode. You can summon a charged creeper by placing a copper lightning rod near a trapped creeper, similar to the process for turning a villager into a witch, or a red mooshroom into a brown mooshroom.
