Moderated by Dan Milner from the ADAM coalition, the discussion highlighted the importance of clinical trials in enhancing healthcare access and infrastructure while addressing barriers such as low awareness, logistical constraints, and socioeconomic challenges. Panelists recommended multi-sector partnerships, community engagement, and the establishment of clinical trial hubs to build sustainable trial infrastructure in Africa, with a focus on ethical practices and informed consent to improve retention and real-world outcomes.
