Christmas in Japan is significantly different from what we know in the west, but it really does capture some of the best parts and just manages to upgrade them so well. Usually Christmas isn't a particularly favorite season, but man Japan may convert me on that too!
Sincerely though, this place was so fun to explore, even when it was overly crowded. The only way I could shoot this video was to go, exhausted, after my day job in the middle of the week. Woof, don't recommend that, but 100% recommend making the journey to illumination if Japan ever opens its borders again! That goes for locals, expats and the like living here, get your butt to an illumination!
