Final Fantasy III: 3D Remake - All Summons - Nintendo DS/PC - (2006) - Retro Nostalgia
A short montage of all 8 summons in the Final Fantasy III 3D Remake for the Nintendo DS/PC/iOS/Android etc. Release Date: 2006
I played through this remake of the 1990 Famicom original fairly recently and I really enjoyed myself. The graphical style was probably my favorite part of the whole thing. Also, this was the first numbered FF game to feature a Job system, which I'm always a fan of.
I didn't actually need to use summons much throughout the game because melee is just so OP but I'm glad to see them here and looking cool(Especially Shiva imo).
The Summons featured in this video are as follows:
Chocobo
Shiva
Ramuh
Ifrit
Titan
Odin
Leviathan
Bahamut
The summons have weird names in the spell list, like "Escape" is the spell name for the Chocobo summon but it doesn't cause your party to flee or anything, just does some damage.
I'm not really sure why this is, maybe it had something to do with this originally being a JP release in 1990. If you know please feel free to enlighten me :)
This DS remake exists on several platforms these days. The footage in this video is from the PC port on Steam.
What did you think of the game? Which Final Fantasy summon is your favorite? I'd love to hear in the comments below.
Thanks for Watching!
