This hike was in 2021 in August. We left our hotel and grabbed bus passes to Reds meadows at Mammoth Mountain Inn. The Rainbow Falls Trail is great for all ages. The large water fall features beautiful cliff faces and a large pool and rocky beach at the bottom with plenty of trees for shade during the hot summer days.

Water bottle/water filter
Food/utensils
Trash bag. (pick up your trash)
Towels
Beach blanket
Sunscreen
Sun hat and glasses
Bathing suet
Water shoes
Your manners and respect for nature and others.
