So I bought a chest mount for the Gopro so this was a little test of whether that was better. I think the view is more symmetrical but seems a little bouncy on the bumpy section. It may just be that it was bumpy but I'll try and adjust the straps a bit.
Second thing I was testing is whether I'd fixed the random 'speeding up' of the footage. To try and fix this I formatted the SD card and reduced the capture settings to 30fps in the hope there would be less data to write to the card so it would be able to keep up. The card is a Sandisk Extreme so it shouldn't really have an issue!
Lastly, I used Clip Champ to edit this video. It's user interface is very easy to use however has limited options for encoding unless you pay for a premium version. You can see a lot of compression artefacts in this video, a lot of this is introduced by clipchamp before Youtube then adds more.
