In this video, I will teach you how to make a simple score system in Unity. It will be useful if you have a 3D platformer in Unity and implement a score system that will count the number of points you collected. You will also learn how to make a high score system, that will be useful if you already have a score and want to update it everytime you collect some points.

First of all, to add a score system, you first need to add a text object on the canvas. The canvas element will have some C# script, that will be powering the elements defined inside. These elements are considered valuable for the entire canvas, because they display the score and number of points you set as a high score. Then you have to define the score manager, which is the primary C# script, because other elements of the project like scene manager and movement script need to have some reference to the score system in Unity.

This will be the last regular video in 3D platformer series. I will be making a break from the 3D platformer project and focus on other kinds of content. Support the Creator of Kozmobot on the social networks!
