Building a Little Working Model of the Lighthouse from Jaws for my 3D Printer
Most modifications to 3D printers are pretty practical. But a extruder visualizer can be a way to add a bit of flair to your setup. There are a lot of simple designs, windmills, gears, etc., but I wanted to see if I could do something a bit more ornate. So I set out to design, print and paint one of the lighthouses seen in the movie Jaws. The Edgartown Harbor Light, to be exact, and install it on my 3D printer. Now, my printer is surely going to stay shipwreck free.
