The Walking Dead | Season 1 | Recap & Review | FULL SEASON
Rick gets shot. He wakes up in a zombie apocalypse. He goes to Atlanta looking for his family & finds a city overrun with zombies. He gets trapped. He makes new friends & they escape together, but a man gets left behind. When they get back to to their camp his family is their. His friend has been protecting his family & assuming his role as husband & father. They go back for the man that was left behind & to get guns. They encounter another group looking for the same guns. They have a standoff, but it turns out they are good people. They split the guns and go to head back to their people. Someone stole their truck! They run back to the camp on foot. The camp is attacked by zombies. Rick & the group run back with the guns & kill the zombies. Many survivors of the camp have died & one of them is hiding a bite. When this bite is discovered Daryl goes to kill him, but Rick stops him. Rick & his friend, Shane go on a scouting mission & Shane aims his gun at Rick, but doesn't shoot. Dale sees this. The group decides to go to the CDC in hopes that it is safe and they know what has happened. There is a man there. It is safe for awhile. They experience some hope even though they were hopeless. The man running the CDC tries to convince them to end their lives along with him. But they don't want to. Most of them leave except Jacqui and Andrea. Dale stays with Andrea because he doesn't want to live without her. Andrea decides to leave so Dale leaves as well. The CDC blows up and Jacqui and the CDC man blow up.
