Does fear of death turn atheists into Christians? Our next target in The Most Annoying Religious People not only believes this, he goes much further. According to Si Robertson, atheists do not exist. And the only thing in Si's thinking that's more shocking than this opinion, is his explanation as to why atheists don't exist! It's reasonable to ask; do atheists convert on their death bed? After all, some notable atheists have done so. But Si goes several steps further with the worst argument against atheism that you'll ever hear. It's arguably the worst Christian argument ever; a new low for Christian arguments. Si suggests, as many theists have, that there are no atheists in foxholes. But this isn't shocking and may in fact be true in some cases. But yet again, Si goes further as he doubts the existence of atheists more generally. In other words, he's not just doubting that atheists exist in foxholes, he believes that atheists don't exist at all. But what do you think? Does death turn atheists into believers? Or does fear turn atheists into believers? Or is it a combination of the two; does fear of death turn atheists into theists?
