Young Black Male é a faixa 1 do clássico 1° álbum do 2Pac, o “2Pacalypse Now”, que foi lançado em 1991 pelo selo da gravadora Interscope Records. A música foi produzida pelo Big D The Impossible.
A faixa usa de sample no “refrão” as músicas “The Product” e “Dead Homiez” do Ice Cube, além da música “I Got To Have It” do Ed O.G. & Da Bulldogs.

ALGUMAS EXPLICAÇÕES SOBRE A LETRA E TRADUÇÃO:
• Como sabem, 2Pac havia feito de “Nigga”, uma sigla que tinha um significado diferente: "Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished", que traduzindo fica: “Nunca Ignorante, Alcançando os Objetivos”. Vocês devem saber que a palavra foi um termo racista usado pelos brancos americanos na época da escravidão. Com o tempo, os negros passaram a usar o termo como forma de resistência, mas ainda hoje há muitas pessoas, principalmente os mais velhos, que não gostam de ver os jovens usando esse termo que foi usado para oprimir o seu povo.
• Skunk é um tipo de maconha.
• St. Ides e Olde English são marcas de bebida.
