Honda Civic AC Not Blowing Cold Enough? Full Diagnostics, Gauge Reading, & Freon Recharge
Is your Honda Civic Air conditioner (AC System) not blowing cold enough? In this video I'll show you what to check if your AC system isn't performing like it should, I'll show you how to retrieve diagnostic codes from the HVAC control head without using a scan tool, then I'll hook up a scan tool and show you what data is important when diagnosing your AC system, I go over testing the ac compressor, fans and coolant temperature sensors, as well as turning on and off the fans. I'll guide you step by step on how to hook up a set of AC gauges to the high and low side Schrader valves and add freon to your AC system using AC gauges while looking at the pressure and watching the temperature drop, your AC system will blow 40 degrees again.
