Super Simple and Free CD to mp3 conversion via iTunes
Do you have an audio CD with music tracks you need to convert into mp3 files that you can send as an email attachment? Well, so does my friend, Peggy. She's a Mac user, and her system comes pre-loaded with exactly what she needs to do this very quickly and easily.
Here's a screencast video demonstrating how to import files from an audio CD, and having them converted to an mp3 file within iTunes, that can then be attached to outgoing email to send.
This demonstration is recorded on a Mac using iTunes, but there are many other ways that this process is as simple and effective using other notable multimedia library software on both Mac and Windows, including iTunes for Windows.
Note: this is not a process that I condone with commercial audio CDs, as the process may constitute distribution of pirated content. But the demonstration in this case is with regards to self-produced content that can legally be ripped, converted and shared free of any legal entanglements or copyright infringement.
