Creating New Material:
You can create a new material and define its properties. To do so, choose the Create button in the Material -- Whole Structure window; the Isotropic Material dialog box will be displayed In this dialog box, you can specify a name for the material in the Title edita box. In the Material Properties area, specify values of the properties in their respective edit boxes. Next, choose the OK button; the Isotropic Material dialog box will be closed and the name of the newly created material will be displayed in the Title area of the Material - - Whole Structure window. You can also create a material tag from the available pre-defined materials. To do so, click on the down-arrow in the Title edit box of the Isotropic Material dialog box; a list of material names will be displayed. Select the required material from the displayed list; the values of the properties of the selected material will be automatically filled in the edit boxes corresponding to them in the Material Properties area. Note that these values will not be in the editable mode. To change the values of the properties of existing material, specify a new name in the Title edit box; the material properties will be enabled for editing. Now, you can enter the desired property values in the edit boxes and close the dialog box by choosing the OK button.
