About "Victim":
This song started out of reflection on my schooling years and extended into my post-secondary years. I was highly wrapped up in how I was perceived and how I was viewed by other people and I found that this was ultimately lending my own self to be pushed down. "Victim' is about realizing that people who put you down are not worth your time.
This pointed lyricism is punctuated by precision and fuzzed out guitar lines, pounding percussion and heavily layered vocals. "Victim" builds in vigor and intensity as the song progresses, ending in a crescendo of blazing instrumentation.
