Hackberry Farm Aurora
For the second time this year, we saw the aurora in North Texas on Hackberry Farm. The first time, it was expected. This time, it came as a complete surprise.
On Sunday night, August 11, we (along with Renee, one of my workshop participants) set up a camera to capture the Perseid meteor shower and left it to do its thing overnight. Imagine our surprise when we checked the cameras early this morning and found the Aurora paid us a visit!
If you watch closely, you’ll see the Aurora, the Milky Way, meteors, a couple of airplanes, and fireflies in this wondrous event.
