I have nothing against SEMRush, they have amazing features to generate keywords, track your competitors, and make sure your SEO rankings are in tip-top shape. But it's important to understand the big problem that most small SEO and SEM optimizers will have. The truth is that $120 a month for a limited plan is a lot of money, especially given there are alternative platforms like Spyfu that get the job done for 3x less cost to you.
Personally I've been using SpyFu for over a year and have been getting a ton of value out of it. I haven't felt shorted on any features or possible use cases for what I'm doing, which includes SEO on 5-10 sites and paid search with a substantial monthly budget.
