Steer or Heifer?
In this video, Ky Stierwalt goes over a few of the things you should keep in mind when choosing between a steer and a heifer. For example, a heifer is typically more of a long term project with the option to put her in a breeding program later on. If you're only interested in showing, a steer may be a better option for you. You can also look at the different competitions and decide based on what you want to compete in.
