Ren was not in the auditions. When the final twelve girls arrived in New York, Tyra revealed Ren as a surprise thirteenth finalist.
At panel, Tyra asked if Ren wanted to stay, which she said yes to. Ren was then in the bottom two again, and told Tyra that she was only there because her mom likes the show. She was eliminated over Brenda.
