60 sec boat survey (Ep 279): Not my type!!
Findings and nuggets of knowledge from a typical boat marine survey. Today’s episode: Don't mix battery types unless they are in separate banks and have separate charging systems that can charge them to their ideal charge voltage. For example, a smart charger with multiple battery charge capability (where each output can be programmed for the specific type of battery attached) would be fine, as long as the wet cell and AGM batteries are not in the same bank.
