AXL RHODES - DEAD RECKONING (Synthwave / Retrowave)
I've always loved this movie as a kid. I never realized how beautiful and incredibly advanced the flight scenes were and how realistic they still feel. Side fact from wikipedia: "[...] this was one of the first Hollywood films to use extensive CGI effects. Specifically, it was the first use of image-based lighting, and an early use of morphing in a motion picture. [...]" I have to admit that I artificially degraded the quality of the footage to make it look even more like vintage videotape. But hey, I love analog artefacts, just as much as I love long, epic intros!
