This is a complete Step-by-Step Tutorial showing you how to interface and print ASCII text and pixel graphics on a 240x128 LCD monochrome display, that has an onboard RA6963 / T6963 LCD controller chip. I demonstrate this using an ATMEGA328p Atmel AVR microcontroller.

I show every step of this process, starting with interfacing the LCD's parallel 8080 interface to the AVR microcontroller. We then move on to reviewing the programming process of the ATMEGA328p microcontroller using the C programming language on my old Windows 7 PC. I also review a dedicated RA6963/T6963 LCD driver library that is used with AVR microcontrollers. This Library package was provided by the website RADZIO located in Poland.

Using this Tutorial you will no doubt get your AVR microcontroller displaying Text on a T6963/RA6963 LCD Display.

Enjoy!
