Ace and our intern: March 2022
Ace suffers from equine metabolic syndrome and is on a special diet. His nutrition plan is low starch, low sugar, and includes soaked Timothy hay cubes specifically formulated for his condition.
Jordan is a student from Pikes Peak Community College completing internships with his to earn her ZooKeeping degree.
All of our working staff including interns complete the SDZGA Animal Welfare Professional course and the Fear Free Shelters program. Jordan has additionally completed her Fear Free Veterinary and Equine certifications.
