Making a flag case by Bob Brokaw
Bob Brokaw shows how he makes a simple presentation flag case from a single blank of wood. (Press "Show More" below for drawings.) He sought a way to make a flag case that didn’t require multiple mitered moldings. The result was a single blank that looks like an “extrusion” when it comes off the router table. Another advantage is that finish can be applied before cutting the “extrusion” into 3 pieces and painter’s tape hinging the case for glue up.
Demonstrated before a live audience on August 8, 2019
