Fixing Another Grand Design RV Failure
This video we return to the Grand Design Solitude 5th wheel we install a flush toilet in awhile back. The owner went to use the bathroom faucet one day and had water spraying all over the bathroom when it was turned on. Turns out the faucet, while beautiful, was low quality metal and rusted through after only 3 years. I was asked to install a customer supplied high quality residential faucet. Unfortunately, like all RV manufacturers, Grand Design makes manufacturing choices that no competent human would, and used flexible braided hoses as the plumbing to the faucet, and I thought I would show how I crimp onto those lines, even though the should likely be banned from use in a RV or house, but there is so much in this RV that I would have to re-plumb the whole thing and that's not happening for one faucet.
