The Mark of the Necronomicon - History and Lore
The Necronomicon is, perhaps, the most evil book ever written. This symbol, called the Mark of the Necronomicon, is often found tooled into its leather cover. It is used by sorcerers who claim a direct hermetic lineage to Alhazred, but it is also often displayed by those who want to proclaim their faith in the return of the Elder Gods.
