We camped at this old coffee farm in Brazil - Camping Fazenda São Gerônimo
On the end of our motorcycle journey with no destination in Brazil, we stayed at this old coffee farm called Camping Fazenda São Gerônimo in Santa Maria da Madalena, Rio de Janeiro. This is near Parque Estadual Dos Desenganos (Desenganos State Park). Wonderful spot. Affordable ($8 - $10 if you bring your own tent to camp anywhere). It is right near a cool river spot with big smooth rocks (see the end of this video: • We got lost on this trail in the mountains... ). Very hospitable owners. This is one of the many reasons I love Brazil! People make you feel like family and right at home.
