KBOOK APP by KSTYLES
I hope that through at least 100 short stories,
it will be helpful for studying Korean culture and language.
In 2018, I embarked on a journey to create Korean language content.
Seeking inspiration, I stumbled upon the expensive prices of children's books in a bookstore,
prompting me to conceptualize a new idea.
This led to the development of an app featuring over 150 short stories,
crafted over five years with the guidance of Korean university professors and many people.
Although the first app launched in 2020, it struggled to generate revenue.
I curated 100 Korean daily life stories, each teaching over 20 basic words,
aiming to bridge cultural understanding.
In 2023, I launched a second app and secured government funding
by being among the top 3 in the nation and contracted 120 comic artists.
Through this initiative, amateur artists gain content creation opportunities,
while users access engaging Korean reading materials.
I hope that the over 1000 short stories on the KBOOK app will be helpful for studying Korean culture and language, and that you will master Korean in an easy and fun way.

아이디어를 찾던 중 서점에서 동화책의 비싼 가격을 보고, 동화책을 통한 한국어 학습 콘텐츠를 만들기로 했습니다.
많은 사람들과 한국 교수님들의 도움을 통해 150편 이상의 짧은 이야기 앱이 개발되었습니다.
2020년에 앱을 출시했지만 수익을 창출하는 데 어려움을 겪었습니다.
한국어 학습을 보다 쉽고 재밌게 접할 수 있도록 만들기 위해 일상 이야기 100편을 제작하였고,
각 이야기를 통해 기초 한국어 단어 20개 이상을 배울 수 있도록 제작하였습니다.
2023년, 2번째 앱을 출시하면서, 국내 상위 3개 기업 중 하나로 선정되어
정부 지원금을 받고 120명의 만화 작가를 계약했습니다.
이 프로젝트를 통해 아마추어 작가들은 콘텐츠 제작 기회를 얻게 되었으며
사용자들은 한국어 읽기 자료를 얻을 수 있도록 하게 되었습니다.
