This video demonstrates a parent doing Kangaroo Care.
Kangaroo Care is the skin-to-skin holding of your baby (wearing only a diaper) against your bare chest, secured with a wrap.
Holding your baby in Kangaroo Care is one of the best things you can do to help your baby in the NICU.
You and your baby will benefit from staying close to each other for long periods of time as soon as possible after birth.
