We have created a simple 4 step process to building a simple blanket fort.
STEP 1. Lay the foundation:
Can be anything from a towel to a mattress.
STEP 2. The Support Chairs:
We used 4 chairs, 3 facing outward, 1 facing inwards (to use as a desk).
Step 3. The Blanket roof and walls.
Simply cross the sheets like an “X” on the 4 chairs. Each sheet should cover half the roof and a side wall of the fort.
To hold the sheet in place wedge it under the leg of the chair and the floor.
STEP 4. Com-fort!!
Throw as many pillows, blankets, stuffed toys and soft items to make your blanket fort super-duper comfortable.
Now you have a castle to take on the world. Enjoy!
