ERRATA: I made one mistake in this video and didn't correctly describe some behavior. Look further below for details. Sorry 'bout that!

In this video I show you some gotchas you'll run into when exporting MIDI clips from Bitwig. Some ingrained "muscle memory" menu choices from Ableton will not yield the expected results in Bitwig, and this can be very confusing at first. Fortunately, you can export individual MIDI clips just fine from Bitwig, but you have to learn "the trick" for doing so. And I'll show you how Bitwig enables you to mass-export an entire set of "MIDI stems" out of a project in just one click!

ERRATA DETAILS - So I mistakenly grabbed the wrong *.mid file at one point and dragged it into the project and then went off on some explanation that if you solo or mute some tracks it will affect what Bitwig exports. This is not true. I can't believe I made the same mistake TWICE during a practice run and then again during the video recording. :( Everything I do is one-takes so it's not really possible for me to go back and edit mistakes like that. So.... the real story is that Bitwig will always just export all the tracks that have MIDI clips on them, regardless of the solo/mute states. Everything else I explain and demo in the video is still correct. Sorry for any confusion!

Although I don't reference it in this video, here is a link to the "Bitwig Handbook" that it often mentioned in this series. This is an evergreen document that I will continue to expand and improve as I make more Bitwig tutorials.
