Re X-Plane 10 Frame Rates HDR ON vs OFF
This round I'm checking the frame rates specifically. Doing mostly the same test at KILM with the CRJ-200 landing there.
Old rig: i5 2500K, 8GB RAM and GTX Titan
New rig: i7 5960x, 128GB RAM and GTX Titan
I've had another rig in between these, but I did not do the same test on it.
What I found is the CPU in the old rig was limiting the GPU.
On the new rig the CPU can take the load and then some more, while the GPU is really put to the limit here at full load.
