Join us in celebrating Australian Made products as we make the iconic Australian Made Logo using the OutBack CNC Machine! In this tutorial, we show the workflow process from prepping the workpiece to cutting.
Things you will need for this project:
1. Hardwood panel - we used a 1200 x 405mm 18mm timber panel Golden Teak Acacia from Bunnings
2. Primer paint
3. Green paint - you can get a custom made colour that resembles the Australian Made logo green from Bunnings
4. Transparent Stencil Vinyl (optional)
5. CNC Machine (obviously...)
6. End Mills
a. 6mm (#100) Maker Bits Carbide flat down cut
b. 3.175mm (#180) Maker Bits Carbide flat down cut
7. Finishing tools - sand paper or a rotary tool like a Dremel
