Welcome back! In todays video I (eventually - I actually cut out 15 minutes of guess and check lol) figure out how to set the player as "safe" when on the paths on the map.
Then, I generate random encounters using a (probably redundant) combination of a timer and a count. May do some refactoring there down the line, but it's working for now so I'm gonna leave it.
