New version of Chirp has been released! This is my first generation with it. I think the quality is pretty good, though I don't know if it's better than the previous version or not. I might be imagining it, but it seems to do more vocal runs than before 😂 It did, however, stick to my style prompt of "emotional upbeat, uptempo pop song by a female vocalist", so that's good!
Along with the new version of Chirp comes a bit of a paywall, unfortunately. You now get 25 generations free per month, and then have to pay for more. Since a "generation" is only a 30-second clip, and curating the best bits requires regenerating often, I may not be able to create songs as frequently as I'd hoped. Oh, well. That's why I didn't bother trying to curate the outro too much, as I'm trying to save on my quota and figured the outro isn't as important as the vocals.
