Kark Plays - Blue Souls: Tutorial + Nexus
Prepare to be offended I am going to finally make some content for Blue Souls the PS5 remake of Demon's Souls. No, I will never call it by the name on the box art.
Immediate disclosure. I am going to be VERY critical of some parts of this game. If you think Bluepoint is a great studio, or that this game is just Demon's Souls with better graphics, do yourself a favor. Pause the video, give it a dislike, maybe mark my channel to not be recommended, and go do something fun with your time instead. Don't bother watching, you won't like what I have to say.
The goal of this play through is to create a sort of real time guide for the game, and to highlight where Bluepoint went wrong. Because in my opinion they did go wrong in many places, and I am tired of hearing the completely false "it's the same with better graphics" commentary. Also many people I see playing the game make mechanical mistakes and seem oblivious that they are even doing it. So I want to give a more old school view on how to play this game.
So prepare to learn when a voice actor was changed, when a va performance was worsened (in my opinion) in the new version even if same va, hear about what's bad with the UI, get told when enemy AI seems weaker, and maybe I will discuss whatever is going on with vanguards breast tentacles and his back at some point.
